ABOUT ME
Growing up, I watched my mum sew — but I always thought embroidery wasn’t for me.
When the world slowed down, I did too. After being made redundant, I needed something to quiet the noise and bring me back to myself. I returned to sewing in a slower, more mindful way — and discovered a love for hand embroidery I hadn’t expected.
What started as a small act of self-care has grown into something I now share with thousands of people every day.
At first, it was simply a way to fill the space — a few quiet moments, needle and thread in hand. But over time, it became so much more than that.
Embroidery taught me patience. It gave me permission to slow down, to focus on one small thing at a time, and to let that be enough. In a world that often feels rushed and overwhelming, it became my way of finding stillness again.
And somewhere in those slow, careful stitches, I started to feel like myself again too.
I began sharing my work in small ways — a finished piece here, a glimpse of the process there — never expecting it to grow into anything beyond that. But people connected with it. Not just the embroidery itself, but the feeling behind it.
A quieter, softer way of creating.
A reminder that you don’t have to be perfect to make something meaningful.
Today, I create embroidery pieces, patterns, and resources designed to help others slow down and reconnect with their creativity — whether you’re picking up a needle for the first time or rediscovering something you once loved.
Everything I share is rooted in the idea that creativity should feel calming, not complicated. There’s no pressure here to get it “right” — just space to explore, learn, and enjoy the process.
I believe in making things slowly.
I believe in embracing imperfections.
And I believe that even a few minutes of creating something with your hands can shift your entire day.
When I’m not stitching, you’ll usually find me with a cup of tea, sketching new ideas, or taking time to step away from the noise and reset.
If you’re looking for a gentler, more mindful way to create, you’re in the right place.
I’m so glad you’re here.
